OBITUARY - (7/29/2013)
Francis W. Rappleye, age 70 of Woodstown, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 in his home. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Raymond & Matilda (Inhetvine) Rappleye. Mr. Rappleye was a four year Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1960 to 1964. He worked as a union elevator mechanic with United Elevator Co. in Philadelphia for 45 years, retiring in 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Francine Ross; his grandchildren, Kierstin Dwornick, Branden Dwornick, Gaige Ross, and Asken Ross; his brothers, Raymond John Rappleye and Robert Rappleye; and his sisters, Janiceann D'Deminico and Joycelee Knorr. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 31st in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service.
