This past year has been tough on many of our Brothers and Sisters. It is my hope and my goal that 2013 will find many more members employed. I promise to do everything in my power to secure work for all our unemployed members; whether it be in our area or with one of our sister Locals.We will continue to fight to retain our work and to pursue opportunities to gain new work.

Our focus on safety is ongoing and we will explore ways to improve our working conditions and  protect Local 5 members form profit above all else employers.

 

As we join with our families this holiday season please take some time to remember the children and families in Newtown, Connecticut and to say a prayer for them and the families affected by hurricane Sandy.
